Datuk Seri Abu Zaki Zakaria has been the Managing Director of High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd since the company’s establishment in 1995.
With over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, he ventured to the United Kingdom in September 1992 to initiate his own business under Link Fine Ltd and High Point Trading Ltd. Returning to Malaysia in 1995, he founded High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd.
His extensive experience, keen interest, strengths, and exposure across various sectors qualify him as an adept leader dedicated to maintaining the company’s standards and establishment.
Apart from High Point Worldwide, he currently holds directorships and shares in several other companies, including High Point Education Sdn Bhd, High Point Technic Sdn Bhd, High Point Engineering Sdn Bhd, and several others.

Having been in the defence industry for many years, I have witnessed significant changes in equipment evolution; it’s an ever-revolving landscape. The advantages of technologies can both benefit and pose challenges to users if not carefully chosen. Technology should ideally streamline working processes, but there’s a risk of diminishing human information absorption as many tasks become automated, creating blind shortcuts for users.
As a system integrator, our role is to offer technology that collaborates seamlessly with users, creating optimal solutions for their processes without eliminating essential aspects that users should comprehend. Project Director
Mr. Fakruradzi Abu Zaki was appointed as a director of High Point Worldwide on December 31st, 2016. With approximately 10 years of experience in project, financial, and general management, he has served in various capacities in companies such as HICOM Builders Sdn Bhd, Alcatel-Lucent Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and others. Prior to his current position, he held a board director role at High Point Technic Sdn Bhd, where he still serves, and is also on the boards of various other companies.
Mr. Fakruradzi holds a Bachelor's of Science in Architecture from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Subsequently, he pursued his Masters in Project Management from the University of East London, UK, in 2008. In 2015, he furthered his education by obtaining a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Westminster, UK. During his MBA studies, he attended a "Summer School" at Harvard University, Boston, to deepen his knowledge in Strategic Management.
Director
YBhg Maj Gen Dato' Ramli Harun (retired) was appointed as a Director of High Point Worldwide on December 31, 2006. With an illustrious career spanning 37 years, he served in the Malaysian Armed Forces, retiring on January 11, 2005. Commissioned from the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom, in December 1969, Dato' Ramli Harun held various crucial positions during his tenure, including General Officer Commanding First Infantry Division, Defence Adviser in the Malaysian High Commission in Singapore, and numerous high-level roles.
His exceptional academic and military qualifications include a Master's of Science in Global Security from Cranfield University, United Kingdom, as well as degrees in Defence Technology from the Royal Military College of Science Shrivenham and Staff College from Camberley, United Kingdom. Dato' Ramli Harun's extensive experience and knowledge in the military have been invaluable in contributing to the Board's decision-making process from a global perspective.
Director
YBhg Maj Gen Datuk Hj Hasim bin Jabar (Retired) assumed the role of Director at High Point Worldwide on August 1, 2023. Commissioned into the Royal Service Corps in the 1980s, he served for 41 years and retired in 2020. Throughout his distinguished career, Datuk Hj Hasim held significant appointments, including Commanding the Royal Service Corps Training Centre for 3 years, serving as the Director of Training in 2017 for the Army Training Command, and acting as the Chairman of the Royal Service Corps Malaysian Army for 8 years.
His notable academic and military qualifications encompass a Master’s in Management from the University of Malaya, membership in the Chartered Institute of Transport (MCIT) United Kingdom since 1999, and a Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from UiTM in 1987. Datuk Hj Hasim's wealth of military knowledge and global experience has had a positive impact on the board's decision-making process.
General Manager
Col. Khaswadi Lahuri (Ret) assumed the role of General Manager at High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd in 2018. With a distinguished career spanning 28 years, he served in the Malaysian Armed Forces and retired from the army in 2016. Commissioned from the Malaysian Royal Military College to the Infantry Corp (Royal Malay Regiment) in 1990, Col. Khaswadi held various critical appointments, including Military Assistant to the Chief of Army, Chief of Staff, Director of Doctrine of Training and Doctrine Command Headquarters, MALBATT Commander in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), and various command roles, directing staff positions, and instructional roles.
His academic achievements include a Master’s of Defence Studies from the National University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and an Advanced Diploma in Psychology Counselling from the National University of Malaysia. Col. Khaswadi Lahuri also attended professional courses such as the Defence Service Command and Staff College in Bangladesh and the Defence Staff Course at the Turkish War College in Istanbul.
Project Director
Mr Fakruradzi Abu Zaki was appointed as a director of High Point Worldwide
since 31st December 2016. Fakruradzi has about 10 years of experience in the
fields of projects, financial and general management having served in
various companies such as HICOM Builders Sdn Bhd, Alcatel-Lucent Malaysia
Sdn Bhd and others. Before his current position, he was one of the board
director of High Point Technic Sdn Bhd which he still is and also sits on the
board for other various companies. He gained his first degree qualification in
Universiti Teknologi MARA which he attained a Bachelor’s of Science in
Architecture before continuing his Masters in Project Management from
University of East London, UK in 2008. In 2015, he pursued another qualification
which is a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Westminster,
UK. Whilst doing his MBA, he also attended “Summer School “in Harvard
University, Boston, to deepen his knowledge in Strategic Management.
Senior Technical Project Manager
Ts. Shamin Hafriz Mohd Shariman has been appointed as Senior Technical Project
Manager of High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd in early 2021. He has 16 years of
experience in military industry starting from a Mechanical Design Engineer in
Defence Services Sdn Bhd (DSSB), Systems and Configuration Management
Engineer in Defence Technologies Sdn Bhd (DEFTECH), Senior Technical Manager
in System Enhancement Resources & Technologies Sdn Bhd (SERT).He attained his
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from Swinburne University of Technology,
Melbourne Australia in early 2007 and later attained his Master’s in Business
Administration from Taylor’s University, Malaysia in 2021. He is also a qualified
Chartered Manager from the Chartered Manager Institute of United Kingdom.
He is also a board-certified Professional Technologist from Malaysian Board of
Technologist. He is also a certified Systems Engineer from the International
Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE), South Africa.
Project Executive
Mohamad Farid Zakaria has served as Project Executive at High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd since 1995. In 2003, he joined the subsidiary company High Point Teknokraf Sdn Bhd, specialising in the manufacturing and fabrication of canvas system technology. In 2005, he returned to High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd within the defence industry. He initiated his education in Mechanical Engineering at Sekolah Menengah Teknik Tuanku Jaafar, Seremban, and continued his studies at Cyma College, Kuala Lumpur.
Human Resources Cum Admin Executive
Norulein Asmail assumed the role of Human Resources Cum Admin Executive at High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd in 2016. With extensive experience in the Human Resources and Admin Department, she began her career at HF Nurani Sdn Bhd as a Human Resources and Administrative Assistant. Norulein earned her Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) from SMK Muadzam Shah, Pahang, in early 2006 and later obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business IT and International Business (Hons) from Kolej Poly-Tech Mara, Kuala Lumpur, in 2009.
Account Executive
Syed Mohamad Hidzam Sayed Zainaiabidin was appointed as an Account Executive at High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd in early 2021. With almost 3 years of experience in the financial/accounting sector, he began his career at Khidmatax Consultant Sdn Bhd as a Junior Account Associate. Syed Mohamad Hidzam obtained his Diploma in Accounting from Polytechnic Tunku Syed Sirajuddin, Perlis, in early 2013 and later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Hons) from Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sintok, Kedah.
Business Development Executive
Lt. Arif Rais (Ret) has taken on the role of Business Development Executive, leveraging 10 years of service in multiple Armed Forces units with diverse appointments. Trained as an expert in managing army personnel, he now seeks to apply his experience and skills in civilian HR management. His previous roles included Adjutant Officer, Motorized Transport Officer, and Regimental Account Holder. Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Kuala Lumpur, Lt. Arif Rais earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management (Hons) from the National Defence University Malaysia (UPNM).
Technical Executive
Aiman Hasif Adnan has been appointed as a Technical Executive at High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd since early 2021. With nearly 3 years of experience in handling projects on a technical basis, he initiated his education at St. John Institution in 2015. He furthered his studies by obtaining a Foundation in Art & Design from Coventry University in early 2017 and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture & Design (Hons) in 2020 from Coventry University, United Kingdom. Aiman's expertise in architecture and design significantly influences the decision-making process at High Point Worldwide Sdn. Bhd.
Project Manager
Maj Wan Rusdi Che Omar (Ret) took on the role of Marketing and Project Manager at High Point Worldwide Sdn Bhd in 2009. With a dedicated service of twenty-three years in the RMOC, he specialised in explosives, ammunition, and weapon systems. Maj Wan Rusdi was a highly experienced officer, serving in various command and staff appointments. Additionally, he contributed to international efforts under the United Nations as an observer in Mozambique.
His educational background includes achieving a Diploma in Logistics Management Development (USA) and a Certificate in Ammunition Technical (UTM). Furthermore, Maj Wan Rusdi has undergone training in Unit Commanding Management and Work-Study Course, showcasing his commitment to continuous professional development. His extensive experience positions him as a valuable asset in project management.
